We’re two sisters living in Canada, raised in a Tamil home where language was more than words — it was identity, memory, and connection. Growing up here, we saw how easily a language can fade when life changes, when families move, and when routines shift. Yet Tamil remains one of the oldest living languages in the world — still spoken daily, still vibrant, still ours to protect.

Ozhi began from a simple hope: to give the next generation the chance to grow up surrounded by Tamil in a way that feels joyful, natural, and part of everyday play. We wanted children to see Tamil the moment they opened a box — bright, tactile, familiar — and feel that spark of recognition, curiosity, and pride.

Everything we create is designed with care, intention, and deep cultural respect. From our wooden alphabet blocks to the many tools we hope to build in the future, our process is guided by sustainability, safety, and authenticity. We focus on products that last — pieces that can be passed down through families, carrying stories, heritage, and belonging with them.
